Job Description

Position SummaryCambrian College’s Student Life Centre requires Hospitality Service Workers, on a casual call-in basis beginning September 2022.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare a range of meals from a pre-planned menu.
  • Responsible for providing courteous, prompt, and efficient service to customers.
  • Maintain accurate inventories and cash balances.
  • Ensure cleaning, maintenance and sanitary standards are met.
QualificationsRequired:
  • Secondary School Diploma as well as Food Handling and Smart Serve Certification. A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application)
  • One year of restaurant, banquet, or institution experience in preparing, cooking, and serving meals in both large and small quantities.
  • Energetic self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to balance several complex and ongoing tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism.

  • Educational documents
    • WES/ICAS Equivalence if degrees/diplomas are from a Non-Canadian University
  • Copy of Smart Serve Certificate
  • Copy of Food Handling Certification.
