Our work is centered around this strong foundation.Currently, we are seeking a Shop Supervisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Production Manager. The Supervisor will be responsible for planning and organizing; crew members, materials, and equipment to execute all tasks assigned and scheduled by the Production Manager. He/she will be responsible for direct communication and support to the Production Manager in the preparation, execution, and supervision of activities while maintaining productivity/efficiency and ensuring a safe working environment.The key responsibilities are listed below, but are not limited to:Skills and Responsibilities: · Together with the Production Manager plan and arrange required materials and equipment necessary to execute scheduled tasks· Coordinate, schedule and meet targets.· Responsible for ordering task-specific materials and supplies.· Supervision of Welders, operators, and yard workers· Monitor performance of the crew members such as the welders, operators, and yard workers in the following areas; safety, productivity/efficiency and tool/equipment maintenance;· Delegate general and daily responsibilities to the crew members· Supervise and train crew members as required to ensure proper performance· Ensure manpower and resources are adequate· Supervise the use and condition of machinery and equipment· Maintain Qualification of Welders, Operators and yard workersRequirements· 5-10 years’ experience in steel fabrication - welding, structures· Ability to read and understand Blueprints· Professional attitude and superior communication skillsWe thank all applicants in advance for their application and interest in Quatro Industries Limited, however only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.Reference ID: Shop SupervisorExpected start date: 2021-09-06Job Type: PermanentSalary: $48,640.00-$80,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
