We invite you to be part of our evolution.Our TeamAs an Apprentice, you will work across different surface plants and underground locations to gain hands on experience and learn more about the operations. You will also contribute towards Vales long-term operating strategy and be signed up with training agreements with Skills Trades Ontario and the Ministry of Labour, Trades and Skills Development.Our Sudbury Operations have been in existence for more than 100 years. With five mines, a mill, a smelter, a refinery and nearly 4,000 employees it is also one of the largest integrated mining complexes in the world.The OpportunityAre you looking for an exciting new opportunity to start or grow your career We are currently seeking Apprentices to join our Operations in Sudbury, Ontario. The Apprentice role is an entry level permanent position.Vale is seeking to increase diversity across our operations and improve equal opportunity at Vale and in the mining industry. Female, female-identifying applicants, and members of Indigenous Communities will have priority consideration.About YouHDET Apprentice:

• Education: Heavy Duty Equipment Technician college diploma is required. Candidates with a Truck and Coach or Automotive Technician college diploma may also be considered.
• Experience: 6 months or more of industrial experience is preferred.

Maintenance Electrician Apprentice:

• Education: Industrial Electrician or Construction and Maintenance Electrician college diploma is required.
• Experience: 6 months or more of industrial experience is preferred.

Millwright Apprentice:

• Education: Industrial Mechanic or Millwright college diploma is required.
• Experience: 6 months or more of industrial experience is preferred.

Welder Fitter Apprentice:

• Education: Welding and Fabrication Technician college diploma is required.
• Experience: 6 months or more of industrial experience is preferred.
