Vaccine Clinic Logistics Lead–Full-time Temporary (up to December 31, 2021, with possibility of extension)–Recruitment #21-178 (Non-Union)Employment opportunity: Vaccine Clinic Logistics Lead–Full-time Temporary (up to December 31, 2021, with possibility of extension)–Recruitment #21-178 (Non-Union)Hours of work: up to 35 hours/week – must be willing to work days, evenings and weekendsDivision: Corporate ServicesLocation: Sudbury, Espanola, Manitoulin Island, and Sudbury EastSalary: $33.00/hourPosition summary:Reporting to the Manager, the Vaccine Clinic Logistics Lead’s main role is to manage the client logistics at the clinic. This role will ensure clinic flow, clients are arriving for appointments on time, confirm client appointments, track when clients do not arrive for appointments, and map the client bookings to the vaccine inventory onsite.The Vaccine Clinic Logistics Lead will ensure all clients are being checked into the clinic correctly and the COVax check-in numbers are being reported for vaccine dose allocation. This position will work closely with the lead Public Health Nurse on site to ensure vaccine doses match the number of outstanding client bookings for the day. The incumbent will also help ensure the schedule for the clinic date is up to date and correct.The Vaccine Clinic Logistics Lead may also be assigned to coordinate vaccine receipt and distribution.Responsibilities:Applies appropriate technology to comprehensive programming (i.e. use of COVax and TOH booking system).Ensure all clients that are attending the clinic have scheduled appointments and are arriving at correct time.Track in live time the remaining appointments for the day as well as the amount of people who have not shown up for their scheduled appointment. This hourly report is communicated to the lead public health nurses.Reconcile the scheduling system after every clinic (i.e. deleting the appointments for those who have not shown up, booking walk in clients or standby by dose allocations).Oversee and organize volunteers (i.e. COVID screeners, greeters, flow control, etc).Provides guidance and support to volunteers.Support and resolve client scheduling and booking issues at clinic.
