IMP is able to achieve success through this teamwork mindset, which is why at IMP, you are not defined by your role.The AVN Apprentice Technician performs first and second line aircraft maintenance on the Cormorant Helicopter under guidance and supervision of journeyperson technicians, in support of our Canadian Search and Rescue operations.As part of their development to journeyperson, apprentices will be enrolled through the Canadian Council for Aerospace and Aviation (CCAA) or a similar institute and utilize a log book supplied by CCAA or similar institute for development tracking/certification purposes. Apprentice technicians shall graduate to journeyperson status IAW the timelines established through enrollment with CCAA or a similar institute.Duties for the apprentice include conducting On Job Experience (OJE) and On Job Training (OJT) for Servicing Tasks, Elementary Tasks and Work, including aircraft documentation, inspection, removal, cleaning, repair, installation, adjustment, testing and certification (release) of aircraft mechanical, structural and electrical systems and components and ground support equipment.This position will report to the IMP Aerospace and Defence location in Greenwood, NS.What You Will Do:
