IMP is able to achieve success through this teamwork mindset, which is why at IMP, you are not defined by your role.The Storesperson provides administration of logistic and material requirements to support the MOB.This position will report to the IMP Aerospace and Defence location in Greenwood, NS.What You Will Do:

  • Update all logistic and material records and publications, including the computer based logistic system.
  • Provide data entry of all logistical and material Work Order related information and documents.
  • Maintain filing systems for all records and documentation.
  • Carry out local purchasing.
  • Receive, locate, issue, ship parts and equipment.
  • Carry out stocktaking.
  • Administer sub stores, tool crib, tool control and calibrations of tools.
  • Provide scheduled and unscheduled reports.
  • Fly/travel and work at other main operating bases, deployments in support of operations at remote sites, mobile repair parties and ferry flights.
  • Conduct elementary and servicing tasks for the CH 149 as trained, qualified and authorized.
  • Provide on-job-training to other employees.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures and directives established by the Company.
  • Attend training for trade and professional development and for qualification, recertification and authorization purposes.
  • Perform other duties as may be required in support of the CH 149 ISSC.
What You Will Bring:
  • Broad based knowledge of material control and warehousing.
  • Broad based knowledge of stocktaking.
  • Ability to use standard computer programs and such specialized ones as may be necessary in the performance of the duties.
  • Valid NS Class 5 Driver License, able to drive vehicles, Fork Lift and support vehicles.
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), and Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC- Contract Security Program.
