Position Summary:The Program Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, delivery, and quality assurance of client services across multiple programs. This role oversees daily operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, administrative functions, and ensures compliance with health and safety standards. The Program Supervisor provides leadership to direct staff, supports program development, and acts as a key point of contact for client and employee matters, escalating critical issues to the Program Manager as needed.Key Responsibilities:Supervision:
  • Provide leadership and direct supervision to staff across multiple programs.
  • Manage scheduling of staff using the Alayacare platform and ensure adequate coverage.
  • Conduct staff orientations, assign duties, monitor performance, and lead ongoing training and development.
  • Complete performance appraisals and manage corrective actions when required.
  • Investigate staff incidents and injuries; promote and monitor safe work practices.
  • Participate in and support Return to Work (RTW) activities.
  • Process payroll information and approve vacation and leave requests.
Program Oversightamp; Administration:
  • Monitor delivery of services to ensure program goals and service standards are consistently met.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in the rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support.
Client Services:
  • Assist in developing and overseeing client service plans to ensure individualized care and program alignment.
  • Respond to and resolve client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in client assessments and ensure appropriate services are delivered based on assessed needs.
  • Foster positive client relationships and monitor satisfaction with services.
Qualifications:
  • 4-5 years of progressive experience in staff supervision, training, and program oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of the needs of adults with disabilities and seniors.
  • Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and supervisory responsibilities.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
  • Proficient in payroll procedures.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365, including Word and Excel; experience with Alayacare is an asset.
  • Valid driver #39;s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
The position is 3 days per week; 21 hours per week, (plus 1 hour unpaid lunch daily). Salary: $29/hour to start. Eligible for $1 increase after successful 6-month probation period.
