Be a proud ambassador of PenFinancial Credit Union including promoting and delivering on the goal of our Truly Local Commitment (TLC) to live our values-based banking philosophy by transforming banking to improve lives and strengthen communities.Job FunctionProvide a full range of services to members including responding to inquiries, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, drafts, certified cheques, travellers cheques, utility payments and other member payments, registered and non-registered investment products (deposits, withdrawals, renewals ), ATM and MasterCards and Debit cards (ordering and encoding), cheque cashing, and updating of passbooks: account openings and closures, ordering of personal cheques; resolve member problems and refer to supervisor when required; promote and cross-sell credit union services; maintain cash balance; list and balance outgoing cheques; accurately post and balance all transactions daily; sort and file documents; and other administrative duties as required.Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesDuties may vary by branch location and size.Provide professional, friendly, prompt, courteous service to members, striving to increase member satisfaction with the level of service provided.Promote the credit unions’ services on a knowledgeable and effective basis by offering a full range of financial services, including registered and non registered investments, and basic loan services.Provide assistance to members by answering questions and providing quality member service through a limited range of financial services (deposits, withdrawals and transfers).Identify and fulfill member’s financial services needs: cash/certify cheques, receive bill payments, order cheques, buy/sell foreign cash, process member statements, stop/holds, status changes, sell traveler’s cheques, money orders, drafts, certified cheques, travel insurance, assist with registered and non registered investment and loan transactions; assist members with ATM, MasterCard and Debit Cards by accepting payments, applications, cash advances or encoding of new cards, and inquiries.Responsible for balancing of daily cash and treasury, as required and location of all cash differences, ensuring the immediate supervisor is advised immediately.
