If this sounds like a work environment you’d thrive in, you might be a great fit for our team!We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in our Halifax, NS office.Type of Position: Full-Time, PermanentClose Date: Wednesday, September 14, 2022The Opportunity:An integral member of the Firm’s Finance team, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for providing accounts payable support and answering any AP-related inquiries from suppliers, lawyers and internal staff.The successful candidate will be responsible for coding and processing vendor invoices, processing daily demand cheques and ACH payments, preparing weekly and monthly cheque runs, and reconciling charges on Firm credit cards, telephone bills & vendor statements.The Accounts Payable Clerk will further be responsible for matching invoices to received vouchers, preparing monthly analyses of various General Ledger accounts, and testing new software in preparation for upgrades.
