The incumbent functions as a primary point of contact for the Division responding to general information requests related to the office, or referring calls to others as appropriate. Provides confidential administrative service with high quality of organizational and communication skills to assist and support the Division in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the office on a daily basis. Provides assistance to the lab quality management system. Also including but not limited to:Enters demographic patient data/test results and generates /distributes patient reportsUses SMS database to generate monthly billing and workload reports; develops database searches as requiredAnswers telephone, retrieves messages and redirects calls to appropriate personnelTypes various documents and correspondence that may include: reviews, reports, papers, grant applications, spread sheets, presentations, lectures and protocols, etcAnswers/refers phone calls, relaying messages with follow up, as appropriateProcesses incoming/outgoing mailHours of WorkMonday to Friday; 0900-1700Qualifications
