The position is subject to budgetary approval. The professor will teach an intensive advanced Russian class, literature, as well as upper level Russian culture courses. The workload is equivalent to three full-credit (six half-credit) classes per year.Applicants preferably have a Ph.D. in Russian or comparative linguistics/language pedagogy/literature and culture. Native or native-equivalent command of Russian and English, as well as experience in teaching the Russian language and Slavic topics at the undergraduate level, are required. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and administrative skills.
