Job Description

We are currently searching for an Assistant Store Manager to join a leading retailer in Home fashion in Canada!*Permanent position in a financially healthy company*Benefits, monthly bonus and comission pay*Schedule: Full time, variable.Tasks related the Assistant Store Manager position ;

  • Create a professional and friendly environment to ensure excellent customer service
  • Assist the Store Manager in generating profitables sales by achieving sales targets and managing the budget
  • Provides proactive guidance to sales associates to help them achieve their sales objectives, by analyzing performances, leading by example, and coaching in the moment
  • Provide clear direction to sales associates and stock associates to optimize store operations and enhance customer experience
  • Maintain merchandising initiatives for sales growth
  • Train, coach, develop employees
  • Implement and abide by company policy and procedure
  • Cross train employees to work expertly in all areas of the store
  • Demonstrate company values by holding associates accountable, and provide constructive feedback
Requirements include ;
  • 3-4 years of experience in retail management or similar
  • College diploma or equivalent
  • Team-leader and great communication skills
  • Sales driven and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to work nights and weekends
