They support all project offices by getting involved in the design, planning and deployment of projects.   • Assist project managers in the delivery of their files, by providing answers to technical issues
  • Answer questions from technicians or programmers during the various stages of project delivery
  • Go on site to put into operation or validate the conformity of a system before the final delivery
  • Act as a resource person for internal and external customers
  • Keep informed about new products and new technologies in the audiovisual field and everything related to it
  • Conduct product analysis to provide technical recommendations on which products the company should choose and how to use them
  • Document product research and issues to share with the rest of the company
  • Design systems to meet customer requirements
  • Design products to be custom manufactured by the shop or external suppliers
  • Assist sales representatives in developing and presenting solutions to customers
  • Produce technical drawings or concept diagrams
  • All other related tasks according to the needs of the department and the company
  • May be required to travel to different sites
Your profile:
  • Training in audiovisual, project management or other relevant training or work experience
  • Minimum 7-8 years experience in a similar position
  • Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in most of the following disciplines: sound, lighting, control, video, broadcast, networking, videoconferencing, rigging
  • Fluency in both official languages, oral and written
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office software
  • Ability to prepare, understand and interpret complex one-line wiring diagrams, construction and electrical elevation drawings
  • Knowledge of the following software: Autocad 2010, MS Project
  • Strong communication skills, ability to communicate information in a clear and logical manner
  • Ability to work with deadlines and manage pressure
  • Demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Good team spirit and collaboration
  • Highly developed organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated aptitude for customer service (internal and external)
  • Strong relational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to anticipate problems and find effective solutions while respecting company policies and business processes
