Job DescriptionComplete instrument parts research, ordering, receiving, and follow upComplete a variety of internal reports (including, but not limited to, monthly billing reports, regional projections reports, etc.)Communicate with staff at other locations on band repair queriesAnswer incoming phone calls from staff and customersAssist with shipping and receiving of rental instruments for store locationsAssist with the management of band repair department inventoryKeep workspaces clean and organizedEnsure compliance with health and safety policies and assist with rectifying any identified issuesClean band and orchestral instruments, as requiredOther tasks, as neededJob RequirementsMust be a musician who plays at least one instrument – Preference will be given to candidates who play an instrument(s) in the band and orchestra familyProven strong work ethic and commitmentAbility to work independentlyPositive attitude and steady composureFunctional knowledge of spreadsheet software (MS Excel)Good organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to problem solve and troubleshootAbility to lift up to 50 lbsKnowledge of band instrument part names is an asset
