Start date: August 11th, 2025Bilingual Customer Care RepresentativeMake a real impact in the insurance industry as you provide outstanding service in a bilingual (English/French) contact center role. We are looking for 15 professionals for this hybrid opportunity, which offers a dynamic environment, structured training, and potential for permanent placement. Work from Montréal or Halifax supporting valued clients.What is in it for you:• Hourly salary of $24.96.• 6-month contract.• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.• Hybrid work: in-office Tuesday to Thursday.• Training schedule: 9 weeks, including nesting period.• AST location (Halifax): 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM AST, Monday to Friday.• After the training period, employees will transition to their regular supporting hours.• Regular shift schedules: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday (rotating shifts).Responsibilities:• Manage inbound calls from clients, averaging about 50 calls per day.• Handle inquiries related to group insurance plans and provide timely, accurate responses.• Explain complex insurance terms and processes clearly in both English and French, ensuring clients fully understand their benefits and options.• Navigate multiple applications confidently, including Microsoft Suite (Teams, Outlook).• Research and resolve client issues while maintaining a high level of professionalism.• Stay calm and composed in a fast-paced, changing environment.• Participate in continuous learning to keep skills and knowledge up to date.• Apply technical abilities and administrative systems effectively during client interactions.What you will need to succeed:• High School Diploma required.• Post-secondary education (College or University) is considered an asset.• 1+ year of previous customer service experience, ideally in insurance, group benefits, financial services, retail, or a contact center.• Bilingual fluency in English and French to support clients in both languages, as you will explain complex group insurance terms and address client inquiries in either language depending on the caller #39;s preference.• Tech-savvy with experience using Microsoft Suite (Teams, Outlook) and the ability to navigate between multiple systems confidently.• Strong problem-solving and research skills.• Ability to stay professional and composed in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.• Eagerness for continuous learning and self-improvement.• Friendly, personable, and enthusiastic demeanor.• Experience with Salesforce (nice to have).• Background in group benefits or insurance (nice to have).Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2504511) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
