Our CFO Services group is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team.The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual with full cycle accounting and payroll experience to work on a portfolio of clients. They will present themselves in a professional manner and have a positive “can-do” attitude. If you are passionate about what you do, we want to hear from you!The CFO Services group provides world class, in house, finance and accounting services to clients of all sizes in any industry. We provide a full suite of financial solutions to our clients, including third- party recruiting services for finance and accounting roles, outsourcing of accounting and finance functions (CFO, Controller, and Bookkeeper for hire), and business advisory services.As a Bookkeeper, you will report to one of our CFOs on the team and be responsible for:

• Receiving and verifying invoices
• Coding and entering invoices
• Performing cheque run processes
• Processing vendor payments
• Vendor account reconciliations
• Customer invoicing
• Posting cash receipts and applying payments
• Daily bank deposits
• Running and analyzing bi-weekly payroll
• Preparation of all payroll remittances (WCB, CRA, etc)
• T4 balancing and year end processes
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Reconcile various accounts and post journal entries on a regular basis
• Maintain processes
• Updating inventory records

Your experience and education

• 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll experience
• Accounting undergraduate degree and/or diploma
• Experience with various accounting software packages
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as on a team
• Detail oriented individual with strong organizational skills
• Time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environment
• Ability to travel to client sites
