Job Description

Building Host, Spring Garden Terrace, Halifax, NSKillam Apartment REIT (TSX:KMP.UN), is a growth-oriented real estate investment trust which owns, manages and develops multi-family residential properties in Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. Killam is focused on maximizing its value and long-term profitability through increasing earnings, expanding the portfolio through acquisitions, and developing high-quality properties in its core markets.We are looking for a Building Host with similar experience to join our team at Spring Garden Terrace. This is a perfect role for someone who is retired or who has a flexible schedule as it includes weekdays and weekends with rotating shifts (7am-11pm).Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Greet building tenants and guests
  • Attend tenant and guest inquiries (i.e. calling taxis, carrying groceries, opening front door, etc.)
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Cleaning lobby area and front entrance way
  • Maintain a neat and tidy working area
Qualifications for this position include:
  • Well-developed customer service skills
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Must be flexible and able to work on a rotating schedule
