Job Description

PAL Aviation Services’ two locations — in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador — have been voted the Top 2 Fixed-Base Operators in Atlantic Canada, providing exceptional services to commercial, corporate, military and private aircraft for more than 30 years. Offering refuelling, de-icing, the largest hangarage, cargo services and extensive amenities, PAL Aviation Services gets its clients in the air on schedule.PAL Aviation Services is currently seeking applicants for a full time Building Maintenance position to join our team in Halifax, NS.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform minor and major repairs on all buildings and equipment;
  • General upkeep and maintenance on all facilities;
  • Perform electrical repairs as required;
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests;
  • Perform outdoor duties such as snow removal;
  • Obtain estimates for supplies as needed;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role with a focus on carpentry;
  • A clean driver’s abstract and record of conduct;
  • Experience in snow removal and ability to operate a front end loader;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
