Job Description

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITYThe Capital Markets Banking Technology team is looking to hire an experience business analyst to continue to drive the upcoming deliverables as outlined by our current book of work. In this role you will be responsible for providing business analysis for the Global Investment Banking (GIB) projects and move business forward. You will work with teams in multiple regions and different lines of business to gather information, document, and manage projects to completion. Will become a subject matter expert in various specialties to facilitate GIB digital transformation, automation/deal workflows, as well as managing vendor relationships where applicable.WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Gather and define requirements, document and plan projects to facilitate workflows
  • Document and identify processes and procedures for various applications and systems to have an understanding and enhancement of current work flows
  • Assist with on-boarding for new businesses / applications
  • Work with development/application teams to complete projects and maintain existing applications
  • Test and work with QA teams to ensure quality of new developments and fixes
  • Provide regular updates and status to all stakeholders on open projects and issues
  • Provide CME knowledge on various subjects where applicable
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Must have
  • Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience including requirements planning, prioritization and estimations
  • Experience in generating new and effective ideas, approaches and solutions to complex problems
  • Experience in a technology role in the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets with a focus on Investment Banking
  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Technical skills to implement solutions such as experience with Windows, Unix, and database is highly preferred
  • Experience with vendor products such as Sage, Argus, or Salesforce preferred
