Job Description

What You Will DoAs a member of the marketing organization, you are responsible for qualifying all inbound opportunities via chat, phone, web form and online meeting requests prior to them being sent over to a sales representative to quote. You are also responsible for developing new qualified sales leads through outbound initiatives and cross-selling and upselling to iTel’s existing customer base. This position plays an integral part in sales and marketing alignment at iTel with the flow of leads from marketing through to sales. This role reports directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing and works closely with Account Executives, the Director of Sales and the marketing organization.Why iTelWe’re growing and we’re excited about it. The ideal candidate will be great at organizing their work and managing multiple tasks, all while providing great service and keeping our CRM updated.Qualifications & Skills*Post-secondary education in marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience, even better if you have any telecom or tech background
  • Experience and exposure to the sales process - identifying and understanding customer needs relative to products and services, knowledge of outbound sales tactics
  • Or, a willingness to learn and the tenacity to make a lot of calls and get to know new people
  • Exceptional organizational skills including the ability to be proactive, multitask and meet deadlines with little supervision
  • Strong work ethic, resourcefulness, attention to detail and strong follow-up skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency: Adaptability to new software is a must, must use CRM proficiently. Bonus points for being familiar with HubSpot.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify improvement opportunities and drive change to increase the effectiveness
