Job Description

Engagement Scope and DeliverablesWorking with the project team and the solution vendor, the Change Management Lead will be required to:

  • Prepare and execute overall change management & communications plan for the project
  • Prepare stakeholder analysis and associated stakeholder engagement plan
  • Help the team with awareness and outreach to internal programs and departments
  • Plan and execute public and internal engagement for testing activities, in support of the testing team for DVS or other functionality as required
  • Coordinate and facilitate working sessions related to current solutions
  • Prepare change impact assessment based on the solutions being delivered to the stakeholders
  • Develop appropriate training and learning aides required to prepare stakeholders, as required
  • Work closely with the program leads to align requirements and change deliverables
Advantages-ResponsibilitiesThe consultant will complete and obtain review, approval and acceptance of all deliverables to ensure a successful engagement
  • Project status, progress and issues / risks will be provided by the consultant(s) on a timely basis to the Delivery Manager or the Service lead
  • All deliverables are to be submitted in an electronic format (originals and PDFs) where applicable
QualificationsRequired:Minimum 7 years of direct experience in a change management / change leadership role in a project environment
  • Demonstrated experience with large-scale organizational change efforts with multiple stakeholder groups / teams, with preference for specific experience with government work
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies (PROSCI or similar)
o In an initiative of similar size and complexityo adapting change management principles / practices appropriate to the size and scope of the project
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
o Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audienceso Ability to facilitate working sessionso Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goalo Able to work effectively at all levels in an organizationo Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle and experience working in within Agile software development methodology
  • Project experience in citizen facing applications, interfaces and to digital projects
