Reporting to the Vice President Research & Innovation, the Chief of Staff is responsible for providing strategic advice to the VPRI on issues and policies impacting the research enterprise at the University, managing performance against the key performance indicators for the research strategic direction, and administrative management of the Office of the VP Research and Innovation. The Chief of Staff takes a lead role in identifying strategic issues and activities, acting as a resource on research-related matters and coordinating efforts to maximize the University’s research impact. The Chief of Staff communicates regularly with senior representatives from academic institutions, provincial and federal government departments and other research partners.Key Responsibilities
