Job Description

Blackbay Management is looking for a supply runner to assist in running new residential construction projects and keeping job sites stocked with proper materials.This person must have experience & basic knowledge of construction concepts, building codes and management/organization skills. We want candidates with a proven work ethic, time management, and organizational skills. This will be a great opportunity to get involved in the Construction industry by learning the products and process associated within.Day to day activities:Drive company truck to multiple jobsites around HRM, supervising and planning according for smooth job completion. Pick up supplies from vendors for foremen and making regular trips to local yards and supply shops.

  • Pick up additional needed materials and deliver it to jobsites for Project managers
  • Return leftover materials to the supplier after jobs are completed
  • Depending on skills may be tasked to troubleshoot or complete minor repairs or adjustments needed to complete the job
  • Clean up project sites as needed
  • Additional errands, deliveries, or pickups at the direction of Project Managers
  • Tow Equipment
  • Must be comfortable working in the field all day. Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Experience:
  • delivery driving: 2 years (preferred)
