Role: Consulting Team Administrator (full-time)Location: Halifax, Nova ScotiaAbout UsFor 20 years Luedey Consultants Inc. LCI offers clients consulting advice on group insurance plans, benefit plan administration, Employee and Family Assistance Programs, Wellness, and other Employee Benefits programs. LCI is in Halifax, Nova Scotia with clients primarily located Atlantic Canada. This role is a combination of office administration and working closely with the consulting team to support their clients.Your Day-to-Day (Responsibilities)LCI is a rapidly growing and evolving business, but you can expect your day to involve the following projects and initiatives:Administrative Responsibilities· Coordinate mail, photocopy, and file (primarily electronic files on MS SharePoint)· Organize and prepare client invoices· Order office supplies· Coordinate licensing for consulting team· Coordinate client meetings and events, office, and staff events· Coordinate travel arrangements for consulting team· Other administrative duties, as requiredConsulting Team Support· Draft and finalize letters, memos, agendas, and minutes· Prepare and organize materials for meetings including binders, hand-outs, presentation slides, minutes, agendas, and all other necessary documentation· Assist in preparation of claims updates, renewal reports, presentations, surveys, and employee / member communication· Assist in coordinating quotes for potential clients (primarily for small business clients)· Provide general support services to the Consulting teamRequirements for the Role· +5 years of experience in office administration (experience in the Employee Benefits industry would be considered an asset)· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail· Experience with MS Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint· Clear and grammatically correct writing skills are necessary· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) and effective listening skills· Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize heavy workloads, and stay focused in a dynamic and changing work environment· Demonstrated initiative to work as a part of a team and work independently· Being bilingual (English/French) would be considered as assetWhy Work for Luedey Consultants Inc.· We have a small team with a family-business environment· Our relationship with SCB is providing LCI new growth opportunities and providing additional resources· Comprehensive benefit plan (group insurance coverage, Healthcare Spending Account, Wellness Account, Group RRSP) and competitive salaryOffice Location· Halifax, Nova Scotia (Bayers Lake Park)· Because of the nature of the work, this position is an in-office position with some flexibility to work from home on an as-needed basis (there is an expectation to be in the office at least four days per week).
