Reporting to the Manager, Contracting and Transfers, this role will be accountable for providing consistent, accurate and timely support to our internal and external customers, with a primary focus administration of our advisors’ contracting and licensing relationships, supporting Contract Specialists and project work.Accountabilities:ProcessingMaintain published service standards in a high-volume environmentMaintain a reputation for fair and consistent handling of administrationProcess AWD work (license reviews, License Sponsorship…)Manage both AWD and non-AWD volumes, with particular emphasis on time-critical functionsAd-hoc contracting investigationsSupport Contract Specialists with investigations of complex and time-sensitive problemsCommunicate clearly and concisely to support problem resolution in the shortest possible timeframeConduct ad-hoc analysis as required, leveraging MS Excel and other toolsSME for DSParticipate in projects and assignments; manage the impact that any resulting changes will have on the team’s processesDevelop a comprehensive understanding of Company Policy and an in-depth understanding of advisor agreementsWorking knowledge of licensing and regulations in all provinces and jurisdictionsWorking knowledge of contracting requirements for all distribution channels (IAC, CAC, NAC, Group, Affinity, etc.)Continuous assessment and improvement of processesImprove the service to our customersAssist with improvement of our workflowsIdentify gaps, assess, log and own process improvementsQualifications:RequiredStrong oral and written communication skillsCapable of consistent, high-volume processing while maintaining quality standardsDeveloped analytical, investigative and problem-solving skillsOrganizational and priority management skills with strong attention to detailIntermediate MS Excel userProven ability to be successful with minimal supervisionPreferredBilingual written and verbal communicationProficiency with Distributor Services systems (AWD, DSS, FASAT/FASATWeb, Mainframe – CATS/Capsil 4.2, iFAST, Apexa etc.)Working knowledge of DS Contracting policies, procedures and conceptsIf you are ready to unleash your potential, it’s time to start your career with Manulife/John Hancock.About ManulifeManulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services group that helps people make their decisions easier and lives better.
