To make our network of over 1400 travel entities more profitable, efficient and help them create truly unique travel for their clients.Job DescriptionAs Contracts Administration Manager, you will manage the process and implementation of loading airline contracts, including the terms and conditions, and clearly communicate contract updates throughout the business units within the agency. The candidate should have experience understanding air/travel contracts and be a fast learner for the platforms within our agency, including our systems, Contract Management Facility (CMF) and the Contract Management System (CMS). The candidate will manage contract expirations and extensions and work closely with the air procurement team to ensure no lapses in our air agreements. As a manager, you will be responsible for QC ticket requests requiring manual review and reissue. This position will work closely with the air support team to implement new functionality and improve ticketing operations, accuracy, and efficiency. This position is eligible for remote work.Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will work closely with the procurement team to receive updates on current and future airline contracts and provide insights regarding status and revenue. They will also collaborate to clarify questions about the contracts content and be able to answer all queries from pertinent managers within the agency.
  • Upload the Airline contracts to the agency CMF platform and perform query testing to ensure the CMS provides the correct information to front-line agents for bookings and ticketing.
  • The candidate will work closely with the NDC Integration Team. The candidate will learn the new functionalities of processing bookings in the NDC environment as part of this process. The candidate will assess its impact on the air desk’s daily operations and help manage the workflow to ensure that the transition does not impact revenue and current CMF capabilities.
  • The candidate will be responsible for the air desk’s ADM management (Investigate, resolve, and propose root cause fixes through data analysis to eliminate future occurrences).
  • The candidate will work closely with the Manager of Air Operations to identify departmental SOP issues, training opportunities, and lost revenue.
Essential Job Functions
  • Understand airline contract terms and conditions related to booking and ticketing itineraries and help test the logic/routines in the CMF. Ensure the CMS provides the correct information to front-line agents for bookings and ticketing.
  • Perform queries utilizing the CMF to ensure logic/routines work as expected and troubleshoot gaps.
  • Responsible for ensuring all required information is received from the airline to implement the agreement successfully.
  • Responsible for the air desk debit memo management (Resolve, Track, and help identify root cause analysis)
  • Interact with airlines to handle contract-related questions arising from ticketing, airline contracts, and quality control.
  • Manual quality control for ticketing requests as needed.
  • Propose IT / SOP changes based on data collected regarding contracts, revenue optimization, and ADMs.
Qualifications
  • University degree or Travel Industry School
  • 5+ years of international travel industry experience.
  • 5+ years of Native Sabre experience, including ticketing entries, manual exchanges & phase IV ticketing.
  • Apollo & Amadeus GDS experience or the ability to learn is a bonus.
  • Experience working with international airline agreements.
  • Familiarity with NDC
  • Understanding of logic/routines for automation that help manage airline contracts.
