OFI currently administers four key ocean programs: i) the Safe and Sustainable Development of the Ocean Frontier, a $94M Canada First Research Excellence Fund program; ii) the Ocean Graduate Excellence Network, a co-curricular program designed to enhance graduate students’ employability in multiple sectors; iii) Ocean School (partnership with National Film Board of Canada), an educational program for students in grades 5-12; iv) and the North Atlantic Carbon Observatory, what could potentially be a global ocean-carbon initiative involving international governments, private sector, and philanthropic organizations/NGOs. The Creative Communications Specialist will also liaise with the central Communications and Marketing departments at Dalhousie University, Memorial University of Newfoundland, and University of Prince Edward Island, as well as with partner institutions internationally.Key Responsibilities
