Job Description

Halifax, Nova ScotiaWhats the roleWe are growing our Finance team and are looking for experienced Credit Controllers to join us working on a hybrid basis in our Halifax office. In this role you will liaise and engage with internal and external customers, delivering effective credit management to Insights’ offices throughout the world.This is a hands-on role where you will:

  • Build and maintain good relationships with all customers to ensure smooth running of accounts and timely payments
  • Work as part of a Team to invoice clients on a timely basis and work through any outstanding backlog
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and dispute management
  • Set up and monitor instalment plans
  • Process and issue reminder letters
  • Work with internal and external customers to resolve invoice issues and reach solutions which are in line with company policy and guidelines
  • Liaise with the Internal Customers to drive process improvements from account opening to collection of debt
What are we looking forYou will have worked in a similar role with B2B credit control experience. You’ll demonstrate good business sense and commercial awareness. You’ll be organised and have a detail orientated approach to updating client records.You’ll have excellent customer service skills and be confident in communicating with a wide range of customers and stakeholders and developing strong working relationships. You’ll have a can-do attitude and take initiative to deliver in an ever-changing environment.
