Customer Service Representative Our client in the insurance industry is actively seeking to fill 10 temporary roles within their Retirement Services Team for the peak season. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates to join a leading company in the Canadian market and utilize their English skills to deliver exceptional customer service.What is in it for you:• Hourly salary of $22.52.• 4-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.• Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 9:00 am – 9:00 pm AST.• Hybrid work: 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.• Join a passionate and inclusive team of professionals.Role Overview:This role centers on delivering exceptional service to retirement plan members through the Canada Retirement Member Contact Centre. Responsibilities include:• Managing 30–40 inbound calls daily, addressing increasingly complex customer queries.• Providing accurate and complete account information.• Guiding users through website and app navigation.• Processing transactions and assisting with forms.• Meeting performance targets for metrics like average handle time, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.What you will need to succeed:• Post-secondary education is preferred or equivalent work experience.• 3–4 years of experience in customer service or administrative roles.• Familiarity with hybrid or in-office working arrangements.• Prior experience being measured against KPIs.• Effective time-management skills.• Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively.• Professional demeanor when interacting with diverse personalities.• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.• Capability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.• Knowledge of Canadian retirement products or financial services (preferred but not required).• Bilingual in English and French to support clients in both languages (preferred but not required)• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2000003) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
