Visit us today and check out www.novascotia.com to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityUnder the direction of the Manager, Health Information Services (HIS), and Assistant Managers, Health Information Services, the Data Integrity Officer (DIO) is responsible for the monitoring and auditing of the patient information collected during the registration/admission process. The Data Integrity Officer is also responsible for auditing, investigating, and correcting errors reported by stakeholders internal and external to HIS. The Data Integrity Officer is also responsible generating reports and the compiling statistics related to compliance with data standards, communicating findings of audits directly to the Managers of clinical areas and HIS, and performing follow-up audits if required. Based on the results of audits, the Data Integrity Officer develops and provides continuous learning opportunities for registration/admitting staff. The Data Integrity Officer is a resource on registration and admitting processes for NSHA staff working within these functional areas.
