This regular opportunity, in the Regulatory Compliance Services Department, has full time hours.As a Development Engineer, you will:be a key team member in the management of the water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure of Halifax Waterprovide leadership by delivering services that protect public health and the environmentprovide professional engineering services for regulatory review and approval of utility infrastructure design and construction relating to connections and expansions of the Halifax Water systemsTo do this job, you need to have:a post-Secondary degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplineminimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible related experience in a municipal engineering field, supervisory experience an assetbe registered as a Professional Engineer with Engineers Nova Scotiaa valid Nova Scotia Driver #39;s LicenseThis job is a non-unionized job.
