NSCAD University, one Canadas most highly recognized cultural institutions, has ambitious plans for its future. Fundraising and friend-raising will help us bring into being the art, craft, media, and design university of the future. NSCADs Advancement team is growing so we can approach this work. We are looking for an energetic, experienced and creative fundraiser to join the team.The Development Officer (DO) is responsible for helping to raise funds to support NSCADs mission, students, programs, initiatives and facilities with a specific focus on annual individual giving/direct response, tribute gifts and event sponsorships. Reporting to the Advancement Director, the Development Officer is accountable for implementing and reporting on initiatives to attract, retain, and engage donors to establish a robust, predictable annual base of financial support for NSCAD University from individuals and local corporations. The Development Officer primarily works with individual donations under $10,000 and sponsorships under $25,000. The Development Officer is a superior communicator and listener, deadline-oriented, discrete, attentive to details, able to manage multiple concurrent projects, consultative and collaborative, and above all, accountable for results and deliverables. The Development Officer is responsible for meeting ambitious financial and engagement targets and capable of assuming the pressure associated with this level of responsibility.Quick Apply
