Job Description

Were looking for someone who thrives in this setting and is inspired to craft significant solutions through true partnership.Job Responsibilities:Deploy code and perform Infrastructure changes on application servers for both Production and Test Environments and verifying the application is up and running.Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for end-to-end implementation of core COUNTRY Financial applications and services. This includes project installation, configuration, deployment, and support.Develop pipelines to Deploy applications with Gitlab CI/CD pipelines and manage configuration with Ansible.Build and Support Multiple Applications running on Windows and Linux serversProvide direct support in the day-to-day operations on the application and operating systems; duties include evaluation of resource utilization by application, monitoring response time of the application and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems.Ensuring that application systems are fully operational, and any loss of service is restored in a timely and efficient mannerWorking closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes and strategies to meet our feature requirements.Coordinate with the vendor and install the updated service packs and patches on the application servers.Investigating tools and processes and integrating them so that they can improve the reliability, stability, and efficiency with which we release our servicesBuild and configure the new environments for multiple applicationsDevelop and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency, shell scripting, PowerShell scripting and windows batch scripting.Architecting, maintaining, and streamlining automated build and release pipeline from code compilation, automated testing, to deploying releases to multiple environments.Monitor and support issues regarding environments and responsible for overall availability of environment.Develop and Perform disaster recovery tests to ensure system availability and functionalityParticipate in Root cause analysis meetings Offer assistance to the Client in performing retrospective analysis of the various Client issues arisingCreate Change Order for deployments and Coordinate with the change management team, follow the process and get approvals to deploy the code to Production Application servers.Developing Standard Operating Procedure documents for Customers/Clients for deployments.Work on application service account password changes in Production and Non-Production environments with respective to Countrys policy.ASG Zena jobs configuration and administrationResponsible for code staging, deployment and administration aligning to ADSCM processRequirements:8+ years in a DevOps role, with experience as a lead/managerExperience with DevOps tools such as Docker, GitLab, CI/CD, Ansible, Git, Maven, MuleSoft, etc.Must have experience with scripting, CI/CD, Python, and platform and release automationExperience in an Agile and Scrum environment requiredCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in Canada without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future#LI-DR1Employee Status : Full Time EmployeeShift : Day JobTravel : NoJob Posting : Aug 16 2022About Cognizant Cognizant (Nasdaq-100: CTSH) is one of the worlds leading professional services companies, transforming clients business, operating and technology models for the digital era.
