The OpportunityDavis Pier is looking for a Digital Associate to join our consulting firm in Halifax, Nova Scotia. ResponsibilitiesAs a Digital Associate, you will:

  • Lead technical delivery, collaborating with both internal and external project teams.
  • Apply agile and user-centered design processes to ensure stakeholder needs are met before finalizing solutions.
  • Use innovative research methods to uncover deep citizen insights.
  • Play a key role in multi-disciplinary teams as a Project Lead, Senior Business Analyst, or Consultant.
  • Drive adoption of new technologies and secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend cutting-edge technologies to support a culture of innovation.
  • Translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences, fostering enthusiasm for new technologies in the public sector.
  • Contribute to product vision, defining measurable outcomes and ensuring ongoing assessment and prioritization.
  • Conduct research and development, defining business requirements that align with strategic goals.
  • Manage and refine product backlogs, prioritizing user needs and evolving business objectives.
QualificationsWe’re seeking candidates who have:
  • Passion for solving complex public and social sector problems, ideally with a consulting background.
  • Formal education in design, business, public administration, engineering, or IT.
  • Experience in creating awareness of modern technologies and guiding organizations toward effective adoption.
  • A track record of identifying business opportunities and driving results.
  • Interest in leading projects focused on designing applications, products, and services that balance user needs, business objectives, and technology constraints.
  • The ability to stay flexible and adaptable in delivering client solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in managing complex technology projects—from planning and architecture to implementation.
  • Experience working in professional services or consulting settings.
