Position OverviewThe Digital Marketing Student is responsible for working with the sales and product development team to carry out a variety of marketing activities.Supporting the implementation of the business development marketing and advertising campaigns; tracking sales data; analysing data, maintaining promotional materials, and preparing reports. Help to develop content utilizing Adobe editor or InDesign for information packages, social media, presentation materials and our website. This position is designed for somebody that excels at problem solving and opportunity identification. S/he is an independent yet collaborative, innovative, personable, and organized individual.Responsibilities· Assist departments with digital marketing activities and planning· Work with Business and Product Development teams to collect and analyze online and social media content using tools such Google / Zoho analytics· Maintaining and monitor online and social media schedule of activities utilizing automated digital marketing applications.· Assist in gathering data research on existing customers, new target markets and competitors.· Track customer response rate to marketing material and other promotional activities.· Assist the Development team in the project proposal writing process.· Help to coordinate virtual promotional presentations with Business and Product Development teams.· Tracks product line results by collecting and analyzing data· Helps to prepare marketing reports by collecting and summarizing data· Research competitive products.· Perform other relevant duties as assigned.Qualifications and Education· College or university education in Marketing, Business Development or Communications

• Self-motivated and results-driven individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve goals

• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office 360, Teams, Excel, Adobe editor & InDesign.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication

• Must be familiar with Internet applications including search engines and web browsers.
• Knowledge in direct marketing, market segmentation, research, and data collection a benefit.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a high level of integrity, a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills

Please note this is a funded position and participants are only eligible if they meet the following criteria:o They are registered as a full-time or part-time student in a post secondary institution.o They are a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection in Canada.o They are legally able to work in Canada according to the laws and regulations of the province or territory where you live.Contract length: 6 monthsPart-time hours: 20 per weekJob Types: Part-time, Internship / Co-opSchedule:
