Delivering superior quality and consistencyJob DescriptionLegendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax are looking for dishwashers to join our team at Saltyard Social for the summer. We are looking for a passionate hard working individual to join our kitchen teams. With core values focused around the people we employ and the customers we serve, we are looking for like-minded individuals.Responsibilities

  • Properly wash and sort dishes
  • Set-up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks
  • Maintaining inventory for cleaning and sanitizing products and communicate to Chief Steward
  • Maintain the kitchen, workrooms, storerooms and equipment for cleanliness and order
  • Responsible for proper disposal of venue waste
  • Be an integral part of the Legendary guest experience
About you
  • 1+ years experience an asset but not necessary
  • A working knowledge of cuisine is an asset but not necessary
  • Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic

Work Environment
  • Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs
  • Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours

  • Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
