This centrally located practice is located in Halifax and is a short commute to downtown Dartmouth. This practice is comprised of 9-10 full-time Family Physicians, is professionally managed and fully supported by friendly administrative staff. The compensation structure for this full-time position is fee-for-service and physicians practicing on a 1.0 FTE can expect to earn an annual income of approximately $265, 000ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures; advise patients on health care, health promotion, and disease prevention
• Consultation and referral to other medical practitioners’
• Act as a patient’s advocate
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations and vaccinations
• Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases as per Nova Scotia Public Health requirements
