Job Description

Marco is currently recruiting a Field Coordinator to join the team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We offer a competitive compensation package, employee profit-sharing, a corporate wellness program, a diverse work environment, health benefits, RRSP matching, and advancement opportunities.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: General: - Assist Superintendent with trade contractor management- Consistently collaborates with the project team- Assist work conflicts and schedule challenges- Ensures compliance with contract drawings & specs- Monitors quality plan- Effective communication with Project Team- Supports Superintendent with implementation of ‘Project Execution Plan’- Assist in implementation of Construction Plan & Master Schedule- Monitors trade performance and productivity trackingSafety:- Support Superintendent in implementation of Project Specific HSE Plan- Help enforce Project HSE Policies, and Procedures- Complete mandatory HSE Training- Participates in monthly safety inspections as part of team inspections c/w PSI & JHA Audits per inspection- Assist review and sign-off all site inspections- JHA Audits (Desktop & Field)- Participates in document incident investigationSchedule: - Assist field team with productivity tracking- Pictorial Planning & Schedule Lookaheads- Trade schedule coordination- Monitoring Trade performanceQuality Management: - Assist field team with Interior QA/QC punch-outs & Architectural Deficiency Program & Tracking- Help review room readiness for finishing trades (ie. flooring for material removal, garbage etc.)- Participates in Subtrade Quality Plan- Assist Conduct Constructability ReviewsQualifications: - A degree in Civil Engineering, CET certification, or the equivalent in experience- Excellent oral and written communication skills- Capacity to efficiently prioritize and work under tight deadlines- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word and Excel.- Ability to invest the total hours required to deliver projects- Experience in construction, drawings, and specificationsThe Marco Group encourages and embraces a diverse workforce; we love to see candidates applying with varying gender, age, religion, race, ethnicity, cultural background, sexual orientation, language, and abilities.Job Type: Full-timeQuick Apply
