Most of the Foundation and Auxiliary funded projects within this portfolio are for capital medical equipment, and as such, the Foundations Program Manager is accountable for the provision of medical equipment system design and associated infrastructure requirements. This is achieved through coordinating a multi-disciplinary stakeholder group to ensure that Foundation and Auxiliary Portfolio projects are designed to meet the needs of the clinical teams and the associated building infrastructure. Working within their team, Facilities Management and Support, relevant clinical programs and leaders, and our Foundation and Auxiliary partners, the Foundations Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the review and approvals of project scope, funding approvals, development of standard operating procedures and key performance indicators, project and portfolio communication plans, and documentation of funding commitments between Nova Scotia Health and the respective Foundation or Auxiliary. The Foundations Program Manager also works strategically to support the development of long-term capital planning and assessment of Nova Scotia Health’s clinical equipment infrastructure; applying quantitative and qualitative indicators to help Nova Scotia Health leaders prioritize clinical equipment investment. To accomplish this work, the Foundation Program Manager will have a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles as they relate to infrastructure, healthcare environments, and process improvement. They will also have excellent relationship building skills, will be comfortable working through ambiguous problem-sets, and strive to meet the needs and expectations of our clinical teams and Foundation and Auxiliary Partners.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:
