Job Description

GroupNB, a leading staffing and recruitment agency in the Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain industries is currently seeking General Warehouse Workers in Lakeside, NS.Role:Associates in this role will assist in offloading and staging product and building skids for storage in the warehouse.Schedule: Mon-Fri(willing to do a Tues-Sat shift every so often), 7:00 am start and go until finish(end time varies based on volume)Role Responsibilities:

  • Offloading of trailers with pallet jack/dock stocker
  • Reading of paperwork to properly ID product
  • Separating product according to paperwork
  • Lumping boxes with ranging weights
  • Entering paperwork into iPad with correct temperature information
  • Sorting Pallets
  • Follow PWMs
  • Perform other warehouse functions/duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
  • Overtime as required
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements: * Previous warehouse experience
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours as overtime may be required
  • Ability to work and operate in a safe manner in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
