We are seeking a dynamic and hardworking individual to join our team of Equipment Operators. The successful candidate will be responsible to excavate basement foundations , install septic fields , service laterals from property line to house, build driveways , grub lots, load trucks and complete final grades around houses with minimal supervision, grease equipment and perform inspections daily.Ideal Candidate will possess a minimum class 5 drivers licence (class 3 with air brake endorsement and or endorsement 15 considered an asset)Minimum 2 years experience operating equipment in a residential/small commercial excavation sceneAbility to load and transport equipment as neededNot afraid to pick up a shovel and help as neededWe are a small and fast growing company, we all play different roles from day to day so if you enjoy doing different things from week to week/day to day this will be a good fit.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $18.00-$28.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 10 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
  • heavy equipment operator: 2 years (preferred)
