This is a permanent, full-time position. Availability for weekend shifts and week night shifts is preferred.Employee Benefits:

Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, the Hotel Maintenance Lead assists in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Queen’s Marque with a focus on Maintenance at our 5-star luxury hotel, Muir, located on the Halifax Waterfront.The general presentation of the property in a first-class manner will be at the forefront of the role. Duties will include light maintenance, property protection, guest services and responding to and testing of building systems (example: fire alarms).The successful candidate will have at least 2 years customer service experience in cleaning, maintenance, hospitality, security or another related role. Experience with minor maintenance work and repairs is considered an asset. Familiarity with electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems is also considered an asset. The ability to follow instructions and implement company practices and procedures are a must. Additionally, the successful candidate will have the ability to maintain open communication with both the Hotel General Manager, Building Operator and Senior Property Manager.The opportunity to join Queen’s Marque at its very beginning is an exciting one, as we establish a new district and community in our city.
