Job Description

The successful candidate will consistently provide a warm welcome and exceptional experiences to our guests in a prompt and courteous manner within the framework of the hotel and departmental guidelines. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintain cleanliness in all public areas including the lobby, public restrooms, hallways, parking lots and other areas as assigned
  • Strictly adheres to and promotes We Care Clean guidelines
  • Stock housekeeping carts and linen rooms with supplies and clean linen
  • Perform carpet cleaning in guest rooms & public areas as needed and according to the preventative maintenance schedule
  • Identify maintenance issues throughout the hotel, notifying the Maintenance Team
  • Attend to guest requests as communicated by the Housekeeping and Front Desk team
  • Assistance with seasonal and deep cleaning of guest rooms as required.
  • Demonstrating teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed and consistently practices guest and associate privacy and security.
  • Cross training as a laundry attendant. Their work is crucial to the hotel’s overall operations. Daily tasks of laundry staff include:
  • Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing all hotel laundry, which can include towels, sheets, bathrobes, napkins, tablecloths, uniforms, and more
  • Removing linen that has stains or holes
  • Operating washing and drying machines
Qualifications:
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a warm, energetic, self-motivated, team-oriented individual with previous cleaning experience.
  • Previous hotel cleaning experience preferred
  • Must be able to perform repetitively and physically demanding tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work weekdays and weekend days and evening shifts as well as Holidays.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team.
