Job Description

BIOVECTRA has an opening for a Manager, Human Resources. This is a permanent, full-time position located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; with the possibility of a remote work schedule.The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Administering various human resources plans and procedures.
  • Administering the compensation program and performance evaluation program, including pay and benefits as required. With specialized knowledge of the United States pay and benefit structure.
  • Administering recruitment.
  • Advising on employee relations.
  • Compiling and completing HR reporting and data analysis.
  • Managing the Human Resources Talent Management Information System.
  • Ensuring compliance with Canadian & American regulations.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Participating in the implementation of Human Resources projects and initiatives and ensures alignment throughout the business.
  • Participating in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
The successful candidate for this position should have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
  • CPHR designation or equivalent would be an asset.
  • Three to Five years’ experience in a Human Resources related role.
  • Knowledge of cGMP or similar manufacturing experience would be an asset.
