Group International Inc., is looking for its newest Legal Counsel to join four experienced lawyers on its legal team.As Legal Counsel, you have an interest in providing legal support on a broad variety of legal topics including general corporate/commercial matters, labour and employment law, and compliance. You have strong communication skills, sound judgement, adaptability, and a “can do” attitude.We work as a partner to our business unit, executive and corporate clients, providing strategic legal advice in a broad variety of sectors: aerospace and defense, private aviation, healthcare, information technology, hospitality and property development.Supporting a complex and interesting company with more than 3,500 employees across Canada, this role provides in-depth first-hand exposure to a broad range of business and legal experiences, both within Canada and internationally.What You Bring:

  • You are highly analytical and think strategically to identify and resolve legal and business issues;
  • You bring a pragmatic and results-oriented approach to solving problems;
  • You are a strong communicator, able to work both independently and as a member of a team;
  • You are a member of or eligible to apply for admission to the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society.
