With extensive capabilities in the areas of analytics, automation software, information security, change management and IT consulting, Mariner has been delivering innovative solutions with a strong emphasis on productivity and customer experience since 2003.Job DescriptionTo help support our continued growth, Mariner Innovations is recruiting for an Intermediate Network Administrator to join our growing Infrastructure and Cloud Practice. In this role, you will be working with Mariner customers to deliver best of breed solutions. You will support strategic and operational network infrastructure priorities through technical planning, implementation, and support, and you will demonstrate effective communication and coordination across various IT Operations teams and business stakeholders.Responsibilities

  • Implement telecommunications solutions with the use of support documents.
  • Work with team members doing similar work and technicians in the field to ensure network elements are connected correctly.
  • Push system configurations to network equipment.
  • Verify connectivity and proper configurations with the use of systems.
  • Document results.
  • Coordinate activities required to implement solution chosen by client; conduct follow-ups to ensure terms of required work are respected.
  • Take ownership of complex problem resolutions when necessary.
  • Overall, the team needs to activate several network elements to be ready for use in our production environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Diploma in Network Administration, or similar.
  • 3-5 years of technical or operation experience in network.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of networks, network upgrades, and migrations.
  • Demonstrated expertise providing technical and user support for hardware, software, and information assets (Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Exchange, Office 365, SharePoint, SQL Server, permissions, security, desktops, routing, switching, printers).
  • Experience with networking technologies (Cisco, TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience in the configuration and maintenance of virtual servers/virtualization software and cloud services.
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to fluidly collaborate with internal/external technicians.
  • Certifications such as Juniper or Cisco.
