Job Description

We want to build a career for life here at CPQi.*We are currently seeking a Jr. Murex BA to join our team in Halifax!*Position Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years of relevant Capital Markets application support experience with 2 years experience in providing Murex Technical support.
  • Knowledge of capital markets and trading life cycle of different asset classes such as Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equity etc.
  • Good Communication & user management skills with ability to converse with traders and trade support team members.
  • Good understanding of Support Process - Incident Management, Problem Management Change management etc.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Experience in providing incident management, resolve issues and provide technical support in a timely and comprehensive manner. Follow-up on different issues with vendors internal teams till the issues and gaps gets resolved permanently.
  • Proactively identify issue, assess the risk and take appropriate action.
  • Good knowledge of UNIX commands with ability to trouble shoot shell scripting / batch files.
  • Working experience of SQL (Oracle/MS SQL) and Job Scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Murex features such as Fixings, Simulations, MxML, Market data integration/setup for pricing feeds, pre/post trade workflow, Datamart & Report configuration, EOD processing.
  • Experience in Murex production support & maintenance: capture, investigate, communicate, track, resolve application issues, adhoc queries, transaction investigations, reconciliation, workflow checks and replays, static data updates, EOD reporting, access and entitlements etc.
