Job DescriptionLaundry AttendantReport to: Housekeeping ManagerSummary: Responsible for the washing, drying, folding and delivery of all Hotel Laundry and maintaining system standards and consistency.This is a team based position where you will be working closely with a small team of people, must be able to adapt and follow directions. Summer will be very busy so there will be little downtime, so need someone who is ready to work in a fast pace atmosphere.LOOKING FOR SOMEONE THAT CAN WORK TUESDAY-SATURDAY!Essential Functions:

  • Be able to wash, dry, fold all linen on a daily bases.
  • Record correctly amount discarded, folded Linen.
  • Complete cleaning duties on a daily bases.
  • To wash, dry and fold all spirit spa linen when required.
  • Operate laundry equipment in a correct and safe manner.
  • Maintain and restock Housekeeping closets daily.
  • Deliver and pickup Suite Attendant Laundry when required.
  • Know hotel emergency procedures.
  • Responsible for the proper administration of key control.
  • Immediately bring all lost and found to the Housekeeping Manager’s office for logging and storage.
  • Report immediately to the Housekeeping Manager or Manager on Duty any out of the ordinary situation in the guests’ suite or guest area including unreported pets, parties in the suite, unusually dirty suites or a vacant suite when the room is through to be occupied.
  • To identify, act and follow up on maintenance deficiencies and opportunities. Maintenance forms are to be filled out at all times and given to the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Accommodate guest special requests courteously.
  • Assist other Housekeeping staff as needed.
  • Employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Weekends, overnight, holidays and on call basis are common.
  • Must have the desire to work in a team-based environment.
  • Answer all guest questions regarding Residence Inn and local area facilities and services.
  • May be rotated in and out of all areas of Housekeeping or called for assistance in other areas of the hotel.
  • Carry out any reasonable request by management.
  • Daily removal and sorting of garbage and recyclables.
  • Greet all guests and co-workers in a friendly manner
  • Maintain hotel policies on safety and security.
  • Maintain a safe work area at all time
  • A Security check will be done on each new employee.
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of supportive functions determined by the supervisor. Performance will be monitored using such tools as checking rooms, measuring attendance, punctuality and teamwork. Performance reviews are conducted annually and after the three-month probationary period. Employee with irregular attendance or poor work habit will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.LOOKING FOR SOMEONE THAT CAN WORK SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS!Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $16.50 per hourBenefits:
