The transformation of an enterprise towards a Subscription and SaaS based model is a unique opportunity to be a part of with truly compelling business problems to be solved.Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completingDuring the first 6-12 months you will:

• Serve as the highest-level subject matter expert in FICA and solutions within BRIM.

• Partner with business leaders to provide leadership in the ongoing development and design of solutions in the FICA area.
• Understand and drive the strategic direction as it relates to the project and program goals.
• Utilize your deep understanding of FICA, author and guide the development of the end-to-end technical solution which will meet business goals and objectives.
• Be accountable for SAP BRIM FICA solution design, execution, and delivery within the program, striving for highest levels of quality
• Review and understand all existing processes as configured in the SAP CI, FICA, including client specific enhancements and customizations.

• Work with business owners to identify opportunities for improvement and design solutions.
• Author documentation as needed to transition knowledge to end users and support staff.
• Develop and guide project priorities and deadlines, proactively communicate risks and/or issues that may impact project objectives, budgets or timelines.
• Facilitate consistent adoption of best practices, policies, and standards
• Develop strong working relationships with your Technology and Business peers as well as across the wider VMware teams

• You have strong business domain fundamentals and feel comfortable in building highly available, robust business models systems solutions.
• You feel comfortable unpacking the high-level business asks to detailed system level solves and document the same which are consumed by multiple cross functional stakeholders.
• You can evaluate and use multiple cross functional systems and bring in the cohesiveness to address business problem.

• You enjoy working with high performing teammates.
• You are an expert in configuration skills within BRIM FICA.
• You are strong in understanding of FICA integration with SD, FICO, Tax Systems (Vertex).
• You will be utilizing your experience in Subscription Billing business processes for software products and services.
• You have a strong accounting background with good understanding of accounting principles US Gaap, IFRS, tax and statutory reporting requirements.

• You have good knowledge and exposure in Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA), Convergent Invoicing (CI), General Ledger (FI-GL), Receivables (FI-AR), Payables (FI-AP), Collections (FSCM-COL), Credit (FSCM-CR), Disputes (FSCM-DM), In-House Cash (FSCM-IHC), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) and Product Costing (CO-PC)
• Strong work ethic: Team oriented, self-starter, high energy, and results oriented.
• Have worked in High Tech/Software/Telecom industry in implementing SAP FI-CA / FSCM/ CO-PA

You will work closely with your Engineers, Product Owners, Leads, and Architects.CFE team is responsible for predominantly following Portfolios for SaaS & On-Prem.
