Job Description

We are seeking a hardworking Mainframe Tester to join our growing team in our Insurance practice at Cognizant! Our strength is built on our ability to work together.   • Review and verify testing requirements
  • Identify and prioritize test scenarios addressing all product risks and features to be tested
  • Define specific tests, design test cases and sets of test cases to cover test conditions
  • Identify necessary test data to support test conditions and test cases
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and status reports for management
  • Execute exploratory, automated, and regression tests
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience working in reinsurance applications
  • Good knowledge in Mainframe applications – Cobol, JCL and Db2
  • Experience in manual and automation testing
  • Experience in UFT and automation experience
  • Good communications skills in coordinating and managing testing activities
